Salazar Church and Big Dipper

This historic family church is located in a remote part of Aravaipa Canyon in Arizona. Epigmeno Salazar settled in Aravaipa Canyon around 1865. The Salazar family has kept this adobe church open to the public for more than a 120 years. It is open year round and the public is encouraged to worship here.
